There is a new hotspot on the island Ibiza: TATEL, located right on the beachfront of Playa d’En Bossa between Ushuaïa and Hard Rock Hotel. It’s all about the Ibiza openings this week and we’d like to introduce you to a new fine dining venue on the white island. TATEL cofounders Abel Matutes Prats and Manuel Campos Guallar opened their first venue in Madrid in 2015. After seeing much success their first year, they’ve decided to expand the concept. Starting with Miami beginning of the year they’ve just opened a third location on our beautiful island Ibiza. Enrique Iglesias and two of the most important athletes in Spain’s history – tennis legend Rafael Nadal and two-time NBA champion Pau Gasol — are operating partners in the exclusive dining experience.

When you walk into TATEL Ibiza you can feel the glamorous vibe of the roaring 20s. The italian design firm Ilmiodesign created a very elegant space on the beachfront. It’s a fine Art Deco style with marine tones  fused with materials like patterned glass, marble and walnut wood. We just love the dark green walls paired with the copper lamps, it’s so chic. This is a venue with it’s own personality and the new place to be this summer for the fashionista Ibiza crowd.

Located in the stylish Hard Rock Hotel in Playa d’en Bossa, Tatel Ibiza has quiet a privileged location on the island. With an area of 1,400m2 and a capacity for more than 300 people. The venue has different interlinked areas including a large terrace with a spectacular sea view. It’s the ideal space to enjoy then beautiful Ibiza sunset paired with live music and the atmosphere of a 1920s speakeasy club. And nice little add on, there is a private room we can rent for you for a special occasion or just an intimate gathering with friends. It has the capacity for around 15 people and includes a private entrance and bathroom

TATEL Ibiza is representing Spain’s beautiful culinary culture and lively dining ambience with authentic dishes. The menu has been transported from TATEL Madrids head chef Nacho Chicharro with the highest quality standards. The restaurant offers updated traditional Spanish dishes with a fresh Balearic Ibiza touch. We just love the seasonal cuisine with fresh seafood which is perfect for the summer now. This is complemented by an extraordinary wine menu mainly with recommendations from Spain but also includes a wide international choice.

The menu is overall mouthwatering with treats such as 100% cured Ibérico ham, Crispy Eggplant with Honey, or Grilled Octopus with Mojo Rojo for starters. Specialties from the sea include the Oven-baked Black Cod with Miso Sauce,  Bluefin Tuna Tartar or Squid with Caramelised Onions. Meanwhile, meat fans will just love the Wagyu Beaf, Veal Milanes with eggs ad truffles or Lamb Chops from Castilla. To finish a beautiful dining experience you have a wide choice of tasty desserts like Yogurt from Sierra de Madrid with fresh strawberries or a Hazelnut Coulant with Ice Cream.

TATEL Ibiza opened its doors for the first time on the 28th of April. And the opening event was a real success with the whole island showing up for this glamorous event despite the stormy weather. With a red carpet in front of the new stylish venue, we’ve spotted many guests of Ibiza’s in-crowd nicely dressed up for the occasion. The spacious terrace was illuminated by copper lamps where we were able to enjoy a glass of champagne overlooking the sea. It was a great opening with beautiful people, music and excellent food and TATEL Ibiza has set the bar high with it’s opening event

Open in the evenings and at night between 7pm and 3am, TATEL Ibiza is set to become one of the island’s hotspots for live music with the Ushuaïa label and traditional Spanish cuisine. Paired with a terrace by the beach with a stunning sea view and an avant-garde cocktail of top quality, TATEL Ibiza will most definitely be a reference point for the hip fashionista crowd of the island. Don’t miss out on the new place to be this summer.
